过大礼

Jasmichew's 过大礼. It's a chinese wedding traditional procedure. There are so many things to do and I am not going to list it down. I find it quite stupid and I had a conversation with my mom.

Me: What if I marry a caucasian?

Mom: Hahaha! Some caucasian like to follow chinese tradition!

Me: Yea then I will find someone who don't.

Mom: *paused for seconds* ok you slowly find.

Whatever is it. I really don't want to go through all these procedure... Maybe I will really find a caucasian or stay single forever. hahaha! yes I had a conversation with my mom before.

Me: I think I will be single forever. So you and dad must leave this house to me, I will stay here forever till I die.

Mom: Hahahaha! Ok! If we die, then the house is yours. But provided you must be single forever. Let say if we die, then you get married, you will have to return this house. So nothing left for you. Do you still want?

Me: erm... I still think I will be single forever.
